The SRobot™ (Slung Robot) is a new concept of a guided robot slung from a helicopter based on patent pending technology. The SRobot™ is slung from a helicopter using a long cable while the helicopter is hovering above the destination. The robot is equipped with a guidance/control system which includes an electro-optical unit .The long cable keeps the helicopter far away from the robot, minimizes the down wash effects and keeps the dangerous blades far from the destination. The robot is guided by a portable CS (control system) which is located within the helicopter.
